Plastic Life

I've been thinking for a while, that I'd like to wake up one morning and start noting the various plastic things that I interact with during a day... From my alarm clock to the light switch to the shower handle to the shower curtain to the shampoo bottle... my toothbrush, hair brush, toothpaste tube, remote control... and that's only in the first 20 minutes of the day!! What did we ever do before plastic?? How did we survive?? And what happens with all this plastic when it gets outdated and outmoded? Where does it go, where does it end up? How can we reduce the amount of plastic in our world, in our life? What happens when we run out of fossil fuels... which are used to make plastic...
