Artichoke

Alright... so after the eggplant adventure, the artichoke adventure was almost a let-down!!! Picking an artichoke is no trouble... and preparing it is a cinch... It looked extremely long and complicated but... really, quite easy. Chop off the top of the head a bit... put in a steamer and cook for 45 minutes... Take out... peel off the leaves/petals, dip in mayo or melted butter and pull bottom part through teeth... Simple and easy! No long convoluted recipes for sure... And the verdict is... super yummy!!! And definitely repeatable...
